The Brookdale Lodge, located amongst the redwoods in the heart of the San Lorenzo Valley, offers stunning views and proximity to nature trails and attractions. The lodge has a rich history, having hosted celebrities, presidents, gangsters, and, as legend has it, a number of ghosts. Its also known for the grand restaurant that includes a creek running right through the dining room, though it is currently undergoing restoration.
